According to figures released by Public Health between 2014 and 2016 smoking has lead to more than 7,000 deaths in Kent.

The latest stats show that 16% of the county's adults smoke which is higher than the national average.

Kent County Council's now encouraging people to give up smoking this October as part of a national Stoptober campaign.
