Tripura launches 'Mother on Campus' scheme for hostel students

Tripura government has introduced a new scheme ‘Mother on Campus’ to ensure homely, safe, and clean atmosphere in the hostel for the overall development and academic advancement of the student. “Under Mother on Campus Scheme, 2 mothers may stay for a week in hostels at a time. Hostel in charge and the superintendents are asked to arrange for their accommodation. In rotation, mothers of all the children will be staying in the hostel campuses,” said Tripura Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath on November 16.
