Most malnourished children in Gujarat-Maharashtra-Bihar, the government responded to RTI. More than 33 lakh children in India are malnourished. Of these, more than half fall into the severely malnourished category. Maharashtra, Bihar and Gujarat top the states which have the highest number of malnourished children. These figures have been given by the Ministry of Women and Child Development of the Modi government in response to an RTI.
भारत में 33 लाख से ज्यादा बच्चे कुपोषित हैं. इनमें से आधे से ज्यादा गंभीर रूप से कुपोषित श्रेणी में आते हैं. जिन राज्यों में कुपोषित बच्चों की संख्या सबसे ज्यादा है उनमें महाराष्ट्र, बिहार और गुजरात सबसे ऊपर हैं. ये आकंड़े एक आरटीआई के जवाब में मोदी सरकार के महिला और बाल विकास मंत्रालय ने दिए हैं.
