LPG price should be reduced: K C Venugopal

Congress General Secretary K C Venugopal on November 5 claimed that the excise duty on petrol has not been decreased much. He also said that LPG need to be reduced and Congress will start a massive campaign from November 14 against the current prices. “It hasn't been decreased much. During UPA government, excise duty on petrol was Rs 9.48/litre and diesel Rs 3.56/litre. They should reduce it more. We'll continue our agitation and start a massive campaign from November 14,” KC Venugopal told ANI.
