Cracks appear in floor of Wala Dam after it completely dries

A video taken by Roya Thursday showed cracks in the floor of the Wala Dam after it completely dried as a result of water depletion.

In previous statements, experts said that this is normal due to high temperatures in the summer.

They added that there are many dams in Jordan that are at risk of drought, due to the lack of rain in the last winter season, which resulted in low storage levels in the dams, in addition to other reasons related to water loss.
