Blind musician

Gary O’Connor is a successful musician, has released four albums, played at the Wickham Festival etc

However he is blind - he is 62 now, but started losing his sight aged 26, as he has a hereditary deterioration of the retina, passed down by his mum, who was unaffected but was a carrier and was unaware. He used to have a high flying job as head of a trading team for a bank in the city, however as his eye sight deteriorated, he slowly turned back towards music.
