Keep your resolutions simple. Don’t go for unrealistic goals. Think about you past experience what led you to fail your resolutions.
Set clear action, step by step. Plan simple actions that will create actual change.
Acknowledge the fact that there will be obstacles and that it won’t be easy to always keep your resolutions straight but don’t completely drop it. Plan ahead and think of a way to overcome challenges.
Start when you feel it’s best for you. Don’t try to start on January 1st if this is not the best time for you. You’ll do it when you’re ready.
Monitor your progress. This is the best way to keep on track, if you know you’re heading in the right direction, you’ll want to keep it that way.
Learn from your mistakes and don’t be so hard on yourself. It’s not because you failed once or twice, that you can’t achieve your goals. If you keep trying, you’ll be successful!
