Malaysia recorded 18,815 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, with Sarawak recorded the highest number of cases at 3,660 followed by Selangor (2,718) and Johor (2,206).

Meanwhile, on the Langkawi tourism bubble, Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham said five positive Category One (asymptomatic) cases were detected after 2,546 people were screened, and the individuals concerned were ordered to undergo home surveillance for 10 days.
