Umarane: In the morning, the agitation started in the Agra Highway on the Agra highway, due to the decline of Rs. 300 per quintal in the Agriculture Produce Market Committee. On Tuesday, the rates for red onion in the market were generally Rs.900. But when the auction started in the morning, the market price decreased by Rs 300 to Rs 500 to Rs 600, due to an auction of protesters, two hours road blockade was launched. Due to the sudden stoppage of the agitation, the market committee administration, the police machinery and the revenue system were seen. At this time the farmers attacked the highway and shouted slogans against the government. This caused traffic jam on both sides of the highway.
