Turf war between Taliban, Haqqani network over power sharing; Kisan mahapanchayat in Karnal; more

There are speculation of a possible rift between the Taliban factions and the Haqqani network over power sharing in Afghanistan. The Haqqanis have demanded all the crucial home, interior and defence ministry, while supreme leader Hibatullah Akhundzada hasn't accepted the demands.
Meanwhile, the farmers’ unions have planned a rally in Haryana’s Karnal district on September 7 to protest the August 28 lathicharge on farmers. Ahead of the Kisan Mahapanchayat in Karnal, the Haryana government snapped Internet services on Monday from 12.30 pm till Tuesday midnight to maintain law and order. The authorities have also issued prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) in the district banning large gatherings.
