Heartbreaking footage shows the desperation at Kabul airport in the days following the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan’s capital city. Afghan parents can be seen hoisting their children, some visibly still babies, into the hands of U.S. soldiers on the other side of a security wall.
Chaos has ensued at the airport as thousands of people try to board military and civilian flights. According to Reuters, there are reports of several people killed and wounded at the airport in recent days as foreign soldiers and the Taliban try to control the massive crowds
