Komodo Dragon Deadly Fight

Hi Friends,
Welcome to the amazing 4u(ihavefact).

The Komodo Dragon, also known as the Komodo Monitor, is a member of the surveillance lizard family, which is endemic to the Indonesian islands of Komodo, Rinka, Flores and Gili Montag. It is the largest surviving species of lizard, growing to a maximum length of 3 meters and weighing up to 70 kilograms.

As a result of their size, Komodo dragons are top predators and dominate the ecosystems they inhabit. Komodo dragons hunt and invade prey including invertebrates, birds, and mammals. It has been claimed that they have been poisoned; In the lower jaw, there are two glands that secrete many toxic proteins.

During the meeting period, the males fight over the female, hanging on each other's hind legs, breaking to the ground in defeat. These males may vomit or defecate in preparation for battle. The winner of the battle will then flick his long tongue at the female to find out about her receptivity.

The Komodo dragon can see objects up to 300 meters away, but because it has only cones in its retina, its night vision is considered bad. It can distinguish
between colours, but static objects have less visual discrimination.
