Amid the ongoing infighting in the Punjab Congress unit and after several interventions of the Congress top brass, Navjot Singh Sidhu was appointed as the chief of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee. But this has not put an end to the Captain-Sidhu conflict. Both leaders have been at loggerheads for a long time.
