Chembur wall collapse: ‘BMC will investigate incident,’ says Nawab Malik

Speaking on Mumbai’s Chembur wall collapse incident in which 17 people died, Maharashtra Cabinet Minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik on July said that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will investigate the incident.
“We'll take the decision to shift the people who are living in a dangerous situation to permanent settlements immediately. BMC will investigate this incident,” Malik said to ANI. The wall collapsed due to a landslide which was triggered by incessant rain in the city.
