PM Modi lauds UP's handling of Covid, says Varanasi becoming 'medical hub'

During his speech, PM Modi lauded Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for successfully handling the second wave of Covid-19. "Today, Uttar Pradesh is a state that does the maximum number of tests in the country. It is a state that does the maximum number of vaccinations," PM Modi said. Further, speaking about the state government's efforts for development in Kashi, PM Modi said, "Kashi is becoming a large medical hub of Purvanchal. Today, facilities are being made available in Kashi too for diseases for the treatment of which one had to go to Delhi and Mumbai earlier." Concluding his speech, PM Modi urged citizens to get vaccination and strictly follow Covid norms as the pandemic is still not over. "We will not let Corona dominate us again," he said.
