Nel Peralta, 34, from New York, began her Barbie transformation at just 14 years old when her grandmother introduced her to waist training. When she started working as a teenage model, Nel felt pressured to "look perfect at all times" in the highly competitive beauty industry. She said: "As a teenager, my idea of beauty was looking like a Barbie." Since then, Nel, who now lives between Atlanta and Miami, has undergone a variety of cosmetic procedures including three rounds of liposuction, a Brazilian butt lift and multiple breast augmentations. The plastic surgery lover claims that she will never stop going under the knife even after having suffered from severe complications from her previous breast lift procedure. Nel added: "I feel like I've reached my ideal look, but like I always say 'there is always room for improvement'. I feel way more comfortable and confident now than when I was younger."
