Mehbooba Mufti sings Pak tune; Covaxin shows 77.8% efficacy in Phase 3 trials; more

Ahead of the PM's all-party meeting with J K leaders, former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should hold a dialogue with Pakistan for a resolution to the Kashmir conflict and bring peace in the region. Meanwhile, data from the Phase 3 trials of Covaxin show that the vaccine is 77.8% effective against Covid-19, Bharat Biotech sources have claimed. The Subject Expert Committee (SEC) met on Tuesday afternoon to review the Covaxin trial results, which will now send the data to the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) for review.
