Contract worker held for murder of Covid-19 patient in Chennai hospital

The police in Chennai has arrested a contract worker at Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital in the city for allegedly murdering a Covid-19 patient. The dead body of the 41-year-old Covid-19 patient was found in a decomposed state on the eighth floor of the building on on June 8. Police said the worker had been working with the hospital for the last three years and allegedly strangulated the victim for money.
