A couple from Dhenkanal has been staging fast-unto-death protest for the last five days in front of the district Collector’s office. Braving the cold, this couple has been staging dharna over illegal construction by the government on their land. The couple is protesting against the forceful construction of a college building and boundary wall by the government on their registered private land.
Despite their protest, the couple alleged that the district authorities have turned a blind eye to their plight.
