Protestors have come out on the streets all over the world as a response to the killing of George Floyd, an African American man in Minneapolis. Many African Americans are angry at what they see as systemic and institutional biases against them. President Trump’s provocative utterances have added fuel to the fire. Professor Partridge, Associated Professor of Anthropology and at the Department of Afroamerican and African studies at the University of Michigan speaks to Sidharth Bhatia
