Episode 40 Thank You, Flipboard

I am a firm believer in giving credit where credit is due. When COVID-19 broke loose last year I was looking for a resource to prepare our teachers for what I thought was coming. I had no idea at this time last year that I would write 40 articles and episodes about education because of a pandemic. Even more surprising to me is that Flipboard has supported me to do it!

When this pandemic hit a year ago I reached out to Christel van der Boom about starting a podcast and using Flipboard. Coincidently, Flipboard was in the process of reviving its educators’ community. To me, what’s even wilder is that Flipboard has allowed me to use its platform to build a collaborative space for educators; I have always found Flipboard to be extremely useful for educators and students.

Over this past year, all of us at Flipboard EDU Podcast have tried to guide educators through the lessons emergency remote learning have taught us. In this episode, I detail my journey with Flipboard and how it will be useful to teachers and students post-pandemic as well. I speak with teachers and students who use Flipboard and challenge them to share it with their friends.
