After affecting India’s big cities, the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic has spread fast in rural areas of India. Poor medical infrastructure and lack of preparedness are severely compromising the fight against Covid-19 in rural and small-town India. However, Badoda village in Jaisalmer shows an example of community support as locals came together to spread awareness among people about Covid-19 which helped in bringing down the cases in the village.
