'MOON SHINE'

Mario Raymundo, chief of the Astronomical Observation Time Service Unit, checks the 45-cm eyepiece of the Goto telescope at the Pagasa Astronomical Observatory in UP Diliman for the livestreaming on Facebook and Youtube of the 'supermoon' and total Lunar eclipse on May 26, 2021. A supermoon occurs when the moon's orbit is closest to the Earth, It will be brighter and larger than a normal full moon, thus the term 'supermoon'. It will also have a reddish hue due to the total lunar eclipse.
