States are reporting a shortage of Amphotericin B, a drug used to treat fungal infections, as the number of cases of black fungus rises across the country.
Until now, India has reported 9000 cases of black fungus, with Delhi reporting 200 cases and a severe vaccine shortage to treat patients.
The Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain has claimed that the Centre is withholding the drug's supply, resulting in a crippling shortage.
