Covid situation in Delhi better, will announce decision on lockdown extension on Sunday: Satyendar Jain

Delhi’s health minister Satyendar Jain on Thursday said that ever since the lockdown was imposed in the city, a downward trend in Covid cases has been seen. The daily cases have decreased from around 28,000 to less than 5,000 now.

Jain stated that a decision on whether the lockdown in the national capital is to be extended will be announced on Sunday. He also addressed the black fungus outbreak in this exclusive interview.
