Nicola Sturgeon has been formally sworn in as First Minister of Scotland at the Court of Session in Edinburgh. On Tuesday 18 May, the Scottish Parliament formally voted for Ms Sturgeon to continue as first minister following the SNP's election victory. Her nomination went to Queen Elizabeth II for approval before she was formally sworn in on Wednesday. Report by THOMASL.
