A Sydney court has heard decorated soldier Ben Roberts-Smith allegedly threatened to sue his ex-wife in the lead-up to his high-profile defamation case. The Victoria Cross recipient is suing three former Fairfax newspapers over a series of stories he claims portrayed him as a war criminal.
