According to a Gallup report released
on April 7, an average of 49 percent
of people age 18 and older...
... had a Democratic Party affiliation
or Democratic leanings throughout
the first quarter of 2021.
40 percent of those who responded identified themselves as Republicans or having Republican-leanings.
The 9 percent difference
is the largest gap since
the fourth quarter of 2012.
