The film, 'Walk with me, Saltina', is a journey along the river Saltina. Located in Oberwallis in the Canton of Wallis, Switzerland, the Saltina River is in itself a natural border that divides the towns of Brig and Glis. The Saltina River has a long history of flooding the town of Brig and its surrounding villages since the middle ages. In 1993, it broke its bank, killed two people and caused a damaged that's worth half a billion Swiss Francs.
Since that disaster, a new bridge in Brig-Glis and a manmade waterfall were constructed in order to control the river.
