In the UK, the issue of racial discrimination with Rashmi Samant is getting heated up. India has also responded to these allegations. Just as the UK Parliament had discussed the ongoing peasant movement in India, in the same way the issue of Rashmi was raised in the Indian Parliament. The Foreign Minister said in the Rajya Sabha on Monday that the Government of India is keeping an eye on all the developments. He said that India will strongly take up the issue when it is needed.


ब्रिटेन में रश्मि सामंत के साथ नस्‍लीय भेदभाव का मुद्दा गरमाता जा रहा है. भारत ने भी इन आरोपों पर प्रतिक्रिया दी है. जिस तरह यूके की संसद ने भारत में जारी किसान आंदोलन पर चर्चा की थी, कुछ उसी तरह भारतीय संसद में रश्मि का मुद्दा गूंजा. विदेश मंत्री ने सोमवार को राज्‍य सभा में कहा कि भारत सरकार सभी डिवेलपमेंट्स पर नजर बनाए हुए है. उन्‍होंने कहा कि जब जरूरत होगी तो भारत इसे मुद्दे को मजबूती से उठाएगा.
