Mamata Banerjee discharged, two days after ‘attack’ in Nandigram

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who was injured on Wednesday during a rally in Nandigram, was discharged from hospital on Friday evening.

The TMC supremo left SSKM hospital on a wheelchair. She has reached her residence.

The medical board had suggested 48 hours of observation, however, after repeated requests the authorities decided to discharge the TMC leader, and prescribed her necessary precautions.
