Cultural workers joined a protest in Paris on Thursday, demanding the reopening of venues.
Workers from the culture industry joined a protest organised by the General Confederation of Labour (CGT) in Paris.
Demonstrators took to the streets to draw attention to their struggle during COVID-19 and to call for the reopening of cultural venues.
They also asked the Ministry of Culture to extend the 'blank year' scheme, put in place for intermittent workers in the form of unemployment aid, for another year.
The government, which closed theatres, museums and other cultural venues at the end of October 2020 to fight the pandemic, has not given a reopening date yet.
