From Hong Kong, Ted Soppet is a Financial Headhunter specializing in the Asia-Pacific region. Presently in his career, Ted is partnered with Odin Partners Asia, an executive search firm operating across the investment banking sector with select Buy Side clients and a specialty in FICC.

Founded in 2015, Odin Partners is a privately held, forward-thinking firm perfectly positioned to provide advisory and responsive project turnaround for clients operating within today’s ever-changing markets. By operating with quality and discretion, Ted and the rest of the team at Odin Partners are able to build lasting, long-term relationships.

From 2011 to 2018, Ted Soppet worked with Cazar Search in Hong Kong as a Senior Consultant. In his role, he specialized in trading, structuring, and fixed income structured product sales, while also developing relationships with heads at investment banks in America, Europe, Japan, and China. In 2016 and 2017, Cazar Search was a Global Top Biller.

Ted Soppet attended Bloxham School in Oxfordshire, UK, where he completed his A-Levels in Politics, Business Studies, French, and Spanish. He is now trilingual, fluent in English as well as French and Spanish. After graduating from Bloxham, Ted Soppet attended Leeds Metropolitan University in Leeds, UK, where he completed his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and French. Additionally, he participated at the Université Blaise Pascal in Clermont-Ferrand, France, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in International Business.

While building towards his current career, Ted Soppet has also enjoyed sports as a pastime throughout most of his life. Alongside enjoying Golf in his free time, Ted also likes to play Cricket and Football, and he’s had a lifelong passion for Rugby. While in University, Ted played for the England Counties and South West England U20 Rugby Union.

He was an Academy Rugby Player at ASM Clermont Auvergne in Clermont-Ferrand, France, from 2012 to 2013, where he was also a member of the wider-playing squad for the ASM Top 14 Rugby Union. Then, from 2014 to 2018, he coached Rubgy for the USRC Tigers in Hong Kong, serving as a coach for the U16 and the U19 Rugby Teams. He continues to enjoy involvement in sports whenever he has the chance.
