Andrew Eborn is joined by DAVE EASTER to talk about 'Rock Choir Rock Stars and Keep Britain Singing plus all things Rock Choir.  Dave is the Leader for The East of England. Rock Choir, the largest contemporary choir in the world, with 33,000 Members across the UK, led by 80 Choir Leaders across 400 communities

During half term week, w/c 15th February, Rock Choir, the world's largest contemporary choir is running a very special workshop project ‘ROCK CHOIR ROCK STARS’ for  children aged between 6 and 16, which will take place online. The project invites the kids to take part in virtual singing workshops to learn and record a fabulous Rock Choir version of 'True Colours', as sung by Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick, from the 2016 film Trolls. They will also learn singing and musical techniques, followed by the chance to record their voices along with other children from across the UK.  It will be hosted by a number of Rock Choir's  80 hugely talented Leaders from all over the UK.  Additionally, at the beginning of January with the lockdown announcement and news that schools would once again close, the Rock Choir team have been helping children with their music lessons and are broadcasting FREE fun kids singing sessions every Wednesday at 4pm on their YouTube channel (also accessible via Rock Choir's main Facebook page). Finally, Rock Choir's daily  #KeepBritainSinging FREE online sessions became an instant hit with the general public when they were first launched at the start of the first lockdown in March 2020.
