People throughout Palestine are travelling back to their native towns in order to comply with the census ordered by Caesar Augustus. In a caravan bound for Bethlehem are Joseph, and his wife, Mary, who is coming to the end of her pregnancy. We follow their tiring journey made treacherous by possible outlaw attacks. At the same time, three caravans of Wise Kings are coming from the East, guided by a star. Their names are Gaspar, Melchior and Balthazar. After having consulted the stars and the Scriptures, they predict that a child destined to change the face of history is about to be born in Bethlehem...
