After a decade as a motorcycle mechanic, Stone Wolf Guitars founder Mike Payne decided to try his hand at the art of luthiering. Without prior woodworking skills, the learning curve was steep for Payne, but he persevered and succeeded thanks to his clear goal: build comfortable guitars. His mantra?
