Featuring the Pink Windmill Kids singing That's a Plenty - an old standard written by Lew Pollack with lyrics by Ray Gilbert - this episode of EMU-TV was originally broadcast on Wednesday, 24th May, 1989. (In fact, this particular song was repeated in the last ever episode of the show, but here it gets its first airing.)
Anyway, look out for the news and weather, Doctors and Nurses, an opera production, and "Indoors Outdoors" (I wonder if this is a parody of an actual camping show), plus the customary Emu Challenge and other fun and silliness. Meanwhile, in Gone with the Witch, Grovel has found the gyroscopic compass, and falls in love with a local Arabian beauty. Or so he thinks. Grotbags is not amused.
Many thanks to Lindsay for lending me this tape.
