2021 marks the 50th Anniversary of the Master in Doctor Who, one of the most beloved villains in science fiction history.
First debuting in the 1971 story "Terror of the Autons", the Master has since become the arch-nemesis of the Doctor throughout the shows nearly 60 year history and has been played by several actors on screen and on radio.
The character's more recent appearance was his triumphant return in Doctor Who - Series 12 (2020), the second series to feature Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor. The new incarnation of the Master was played by Sacha Dhawan making history as the youngest actor to ever play the role.
