A Suspect Speaks Up

Gregorio Angelo Rafael de Guzman, one of the suspects in the reported rape-slay of flight attendant Christine Dacera, recounts to Manila Times correspondent John Eric Mendoza the party which he and the victim attended, along with common friends, at the City Garden Hotel in Makati City on Dec. 31, 2020. Dacera, 23, was found dead on Jan. 1, 2021. De Guzman denies involvement in the killing. Police launched a manhunt on at least nine other suspects.
