Dr. Padmanabha Kamath is the pioneer of Cardiology at Doorsteps (CAD) programme which has managed to provide ECG machines and services to the rural parts of Karnataka. By doing this and by providing a network of specialists, Dr. Kamath has made it easier for heart attacks to be detected in time.
