UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the post-Brexit trade deal opens up greater "freedoms" for British people.
In his first interview after the agreement,... Johnson said the deal would provide new legislative "freedoms" for those who felt left behind.
He said great efforts will go into areas like animal welfare, data and chemicals,...where Britain could diverge from EU standards.
The deal was reached in the last minute,... on Christmas Eve,... just a few days before the Brexit transition period was due to end.
The parliament will vote on the deal on Wednesday.
