Protest day 8: Farmers demand new law on MSP

Over 34 farmer union groups held the fourth round of talks with the central government on Thursday demanding a specific law on Minimum Support Price (MSP) as a pre-condition for ending their ongoing protest against the new farm laws. Bharatiya Kisan Union, the Bharatiya Kisan Sanyukta Morcha and the Krantikari Kisan Union were some of the farmer unions that came up with the demand.
