On the anniversary of the Pakistani invasion of Kashmir in 1947, hoardings calling October 22 a ‘Black Day’ have been put up in Srinagar as a reminder of the atrocities committed by the Pakistani raiders on the local population. The government has decided to set up a museum tracing the history of the raid showing the atrocities committed by tribal raiders supported by the Pakistan army. It has been decided to observe the anniversary as a 'Black Day' and remind the world how Pakistan has been responsible for the unrest in the region, leading to continuous conflict, violence and terrorism in Kashmir.
