Bihar Elections 2020: This Elderly Man Gave an Honest Answer And Had The Netizens in Splits

As the Bihar elections are round the corner, a villager in the state was asked if ‘vikas (development)’ was there in his village; the elderly man’s response has taken the netizens by storm and is now being widely shared on social media. The video shows a reporter asking an aged resident of Lakhisarai, “Kya aapke gaon me vikas pahuncha hai (Has there been development in your village?)”. The man replies, “Vikas…hum nahi the yahan sir. Hum bimar the toh doctor ke yahan gaye the. (Vikas…I wasn’t here, Sir. I was sick so I was at the doctor’s)”.
