‘Tree Planting’ Program in a Joint Venture of International Hope School Bogra Branch and SOILY
On 24th October, International Hope School Bangladesh Bogra Branch organized and SOILY's environmental program “Sustainable Environmental Development in Bangladesh (SEDB)” set an example of raising environmental awareness by planting trees in the school's own building. Their slogan was "Plant trees, save lives".
Students and teachers from International Hope School Bangladesh's Nursery, KG-1, KG-2 to Standard-6 took part in the program. In addition to planting trees, they can learn about environmental pollution, the need for trees to protect the environment, the life cycle of trees, the greenhouse effect in their respective classes, and gain practical knowledge through craft work. Today's children are the future leaders, capitalizing on this fact, the school authorities want to spread the light of correct knowledge among their students.
The main objective of this program is to increase the awareness among the students about the environment. the students highlighted the need for tree planting, deforestation, global warming, etc.
