The Opposition has demanded Kerala Minister KT Jaleel's resignation as he is being grilled in the gold scam case. Earlier in the day, Congress leaders were detained after they staged a violent protest outside the NIA office in Kochi today, demanding Jaleel's resignation. Congress activists vandalised police vehicles and created ruckus.
Meanwhile, Bengaluru Police pile up proof against Kannada actress Sanjjanaa Galrani in Sandalwood drugs case as her police custody ends today. India Today has accessed exclusive details of raids at the actress's house. During these raids on Thursday, the Karnataka Police recovered several mobile phones, a harddisk a laptop and a powerbank. Police also said that the actress did not use a SIM card in some mobile phones.
