Discovery's earnings slump and lower YoY retail sales

Discovery has reported a significant drop in full-year earnings thanks to the pandemic's toll on the local and global economy and operations. The latest retail sales from Stats SA show that retail trade sales decreased by 9 percent year-on-year in July, mainly thanks to food, beverages and tobacco retail falling by over 18 percent.
