Continuous rain caused landslides to occur at two different areas in Cameron Highlands on Saturday morning.

Cameron Highlands police chief Deputy Superintendant Ashari Abu Samah said the first incident at about 6am at Jalan Ulu Merah, Ringlet covered a 10metre stretch, forcing the road to be closed to all vehicles to allow the Works Department to clear the debris.

The second landslide happened along Jalan Ringlet- Blue Valley covering a 32 meter stretch.

No casualties were reported at both areas.
