Doan Thi Huong, the Vietnamese woman who plea-bargained and was sentenced to 40 months in jail instead of the death penalty over the killing of Kim Jong-nam, the estranged half-brother of North Korea leader Kim Jong-un, will be freed and sent back to her country on May 3, her lawyer said on Saturday.
