The government of West Bengal, Department of Health and Family Welfare published the notification for Admission to the General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) course for the season November 2020 to October 2023. WB Health GNM Nursing Traning course admission 2020 Online Application Process. Candidates can apply online for WB Health GNM Nursing course.
Online Application for WB Health GNM Nursing will start from 28th July and continue upto 10th August 2020.
Total vacancies for West Bengal Health GNM Nursing Traning course are 2692 for female candidates and 125 for male candidates. Admission on 3 years GNM Nursing Traning course including 6 months internship.
ANM
Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery or ANM for short, is a 2 year undergraduate diploma course in nursing.
The minimum eligibility criteria to get admitted into Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery course is to be a minimum 10+2 level pass out with a minimum aggregate score of at least 50%.
Some institutes admit students on merit-basis of the state or national level entrance examination. For admission through entrance exams, a counselling round is also held for the candidates.
ANM students are educated on maternity care and providing assistance to new mothers during pregnancy and post-delivery. Candidates are also taught on various aspects of medicare that aim at improving the health of patients, families and society in large.
